Lucy Bird

Lucy works for St James and St William (a JV between National Grid and the Berkeley Group), as Planning Director, where her role focuses on planning strategies, site promotion and complex urban developments.  Her career began in Local Government working in planning policy teams, before moving across to consultancy, specialising in comprehensive regeneration development.  This gave her a solid foundation for her role at the Greater London Authority, where she worked on numerous high-profile schemes and call ins for the previous Mayor.  She has a specific interest in urban regeneration, design and policy formation.
